Dear James CCS completed a project to extend our property in May2010.
Having decided that we wanted an new kitchen and dining area built onto our existing house and also improvements made to the downstairs of the property we researched various local builders to find a company who we would ask to build the extension. The company had to offer a complete deal involving “a one stop shop “, designing the building work, seeking planning approval and with a proven track record of quality outcomes. Complete Construction met the brief and came very highly recommended. Their architect significantly improved our ideas and was able to gain planning approval with no difficulty having talked the application through with the planners to avoid any difficulties. The work that was carried out in 2010 and was of a very high quality. The Company was flexible enough to be able to adapt to some changes that we asked to be made to the planned work. We now have a new kitchen/dining area some 10.5 meters by 6 meters along with new facilities built in the existing house. The company have provided an excellent snagging service and have quickly responded to the few problems that we have had since completion of the building works. Perhaps the best endorsement that I can give of the work that Complete Construction have undertaken is that we spend most of our time in the extension and can now have all the family in the kitchen at once. We are very happy with the work they have undertaken. David and Hilary Cooke “May I take this opportunity to thank you for all your assistance in completing the work quickly and to a high standard of workmanship. I would not hesitate in contacting you again if we require any further work doing. And I would certainly recommend you and your firm to others should I be asked.” Terry Bates We purchased our house in May 2009 and even at first viewing we were aware that it required a considerable amount of work before it was safely habitable to modern standards. We approached CCS prior to the purchase to confirm that our impression of the works required was realistic, believing that it may be necessary to demolish and rebuild. Our main contact at this time was with Tony Charker who took a great deal of time to explain what our options were and the potential cost involved. We more or less knew what we wanted from the house and worked closely with both Tony Charker and James Vickers who helped us to refine our ideas by producing a number of C.A.D drawings giving us a number of possible options and provisional costings within our budget. I am pleased to confirm that Complete Construction services Ltd (CCS) have designed and built the access road and the last four industrial units to be constructed upon the White Hoe Industrial Estate and have obtained planning permission for the estate layout and the next two units have been constructed. The total floor area of the units so far constructed is in excess of 46,000 square feet. CCS have undertaken the “Complete Construction” package including obtaining Planning and Building Control Approval, undertaking Planning Supervision in respect of CDM responsibilities of the construction of the units. The engineering design, and construction, of the units has not been straight forward due to large extent and depth of filled ground encountered. CCS have always gone to great lengths to devise economical engineering solutions to what could otherwise be a prohibitively expensive problem. CCS are punctual, reliable, work in a professional, safe and efficient manner and provide an excellent end product. We have no hesitation in recommending them to you.” Yours Faithfully Peter Christian “I am really delighted with my new home and have never felt so warm and comfortable before, it is sop easy to heat and keep that way. Again my thanks and all best wished to you and your family.” Gerry Batchelor “We are please to see a conclusion to this project, and would like to add that we are delighted with the final result. We enclose a separate cheque to provide a drink (A toast to Cooill Veg) whenever you have a staff get together. If they wish to call in at any time to view their handywork they will be most welcome. Beryl Newbold It is our pleasure to forward photographs of the above project in its completed form and record appreciation of your service. In terms of workmanship and finish within agreed timescales – results speak for themselves. The must however be a word of special thanks from us for the way in which your organisation overcame bad weather, bad neighbours, unchartered drainage and a whole host of technical problems beyond our understanding. Essentially, my wife is delighted with our ‘new home’ and my own reaction is one of complete satisfaction.” John “Thank you for all your help and good work on the garage and utility, we are very pleased with the finished job.” Judith Vincent “May we take this opportunity of thanking you, your staff and contractors for the efficient and tidy way in which the work has been carried out. Our lives have been ale to carry on, virtually uninterrupted and we are grateful to you for that. If we need any further work I the future, we will of course get in touch with you” Michael H Swain “Now the contract for Mona Cottage is completed, I would just like to thank everyone at CCS for a good job done. I am well aware that a client’s dreams and ideas are often far from feasible in an old property but you made them all happen. Also the price estimated was the price I paid – no long list of hidden extras when the work was started. Being on my own, ii was nervous at the taking on, what was for me, a large project – I needn’t have been. The workman I saw was always kind and courteous. They took a real interest in the job giving advice and ideas that not only impacted the project but sometimes saved me money. Working full time for myself, I often had to get in touch with you at unsociable hours, but you were always pleasant, concerned and helpful Recently I advertised Mona Cottage out for rental. I had 12 enquiries – out of the 12, 8 people wished to rent the cottage. A fitting testament of a job well done.” Mrs H.E.Bruce “Thank you very much for doing our building work your staff’s attitude and expertise are very much appreciated.” Anne “Complete Construction Services Ltd completed a scheme comprising one block of four x two bedroomed flats on an infill plot in Ballakilley Close, Port Erin approximately a tear ago. The contract was completed on time and to a good standard of workmanship. The development site being infill within an existing estate was a difficult site to develop due to the close proximity of the adjourning properties. A good relationship was established with the occupiers of the neighbouring properties which greatly assisted the smooth running of the development. The site was well managed and controlled by the principals of the Company with every regard being taken to the Health and Safety of their employees and the public at large. The company have also fulfilled their obligations within 12 months defect period to a more than satisfactory standard.” M J Kewley Clerk of the Commissioners
