It has been surprisingly pleasurable experience; I say ‘surprisingly’ based on earlier building work we have had done; due, in the main part, to the caliber of men you employ without exception they have been pleasant, cheerful & agreeable chaps who have worked and continue to do so in a highly capable and professional manner. We really enjoyed the way the way they have got on with the job. Mark and Andy worked willingly & diligently. Kevin showed mastery & Huge skill in operating the digger. Other tradesmen came, performed efficiently and left on time. I think we could be ahead of your expected schedule! Finally, all of the above has been influenced and guided by Tony, a first class project manager and a valuable asset to your company.

I hope this doesn’t sound too flowery, but we do mean it, we are well pleased and happy with the progress.

CCS completed a project to extend our property in May2010.

We were very pleased with the finished work and satisfied with the all inclusive service provided by CCS throughout.

CCS took our initial plans, considered our requirements and quoted costing for the project in a clear and understandable way.

Contractors were reliable and coordinated efficiently, with the timing of the various stages of the build and fitting managed effectively to minimise the inconvenience to us. We were, due to this planning and execution, able to remain in our home despite the demands of the project. Any queries we had regarding the ongoing works were dealt with politely and capably.

The contractors employed by CCS were without exception friendly and considerate to our needs.

Having decided that we wanted an new kitchen and dining area built onto our existing house and also improvements made to the downstairs of the property we researched various local builders to find a company who we would ask to build the extension.

The company had to offer a complete deal involving “a one stop shop “, designing the building work, seeking planning approval and with a proven track record of quality outcomes. Complete Construction met the brief and came very highly recommended.

Their architect significantly improved our ideas and was able to gain planning approval with no difficulty having talked the application through with the planners to avoid any difficulties.

The work that was carried out in 2010 and was of a very high quality. The Company was flexible enough to be able to adapt to some changes that we asked to be made to the planned work. We now have a new kitchen/dining area some 10.5 meters by 6 meters along with new facilities built in the existing house.

The company have provided an excellent snagging service and have quickly responded to the few problems that we have had since completion of the building works.

Perhaps the best endorsement that I can give of the work that Complete Construction have undertaken is that we spend most of our time in the extension and can now have all the family in the kitchen at once. We are very happy with the work they have undertaken.

We purchased our house in May 2009 and even at first viewing we were aware that it required a considerable amount of work before it was safely habitable to modern standards. We approached CCS prior to the purchase to confirm that our impression of the works required was realistic, believing that it may be necessary to demolish and rebuild. Our main contact at this time was with Tony Charker who took a great deal of time to explain what our options were and the potential cost involved. We more or less knew what we wanted from the house and worked closely with both Tony Charker and James Vickers who helped us to refine our ideas by producing a number of C.A.D drawings giving us a number of possible options and provisional costings within our budget.

Our final plan was actually our initial wish to extensively refurbish and extend the property by around 50%. This all included re-wiring, re-plumbing, a new heating system and some external works as well. We were so confident in our relationship with Tony and CCS at this point that we did not approach another building firm and CCS commenced work in November 2009.

Neither I nor my wife had the knowledge or time to project manage the works so were very happy to use CCS as we have only had to engage them and they have appointed all other contractors as necessary, which have included architects, structural engineers, joiners, electricians, plumbers, roofers, plasterers, digger drivers etc.

Tony has been our main point of contact and any problems or questions that we have had have been initially directed to him and he has resolved all of our problems with the minimum of fuss. We are sure that his job is very difficult logistically, but he has managed everything calmly and professionally.

The supervision, by him, of our site has been excellent. He has ensured that equipment was on site and ready to use and that the site was secure. From our limited experience and by observation we believe that Tony has been on top of potential hazards and taken measures to limit danger to the staff or visitors to the site. He made us aware of the workers hours and break times from the outset and has ensured that the staff at CCS and the sub-contractors have been on site when we expected them, or given us valid reasons why not. As a result we can say that we have found CCS staff and sub-contractors to be reliable and punctual in all instances.

We are not experts in the processes of the building trade, but we are very happy with the quality of the work completed to date and what is now very nearly the end product. CCS have engaged a number of sub-contractors all of whose work has been to a high standard and unusually, I would expect, most of the individual trades have complimented the standard of workmanship of various other trades. The final, visible finishing of the work we would also suggest is of a high quality and the joiners and groundworkers in particular have been keen to ensure that they get things right first time.

Throughout the build we have had regular meetings with Tony. We have also been in contact with James, when Tony has been on holiday etc but have not felt the need to work more closely with James as we have found Tony to be completely reliable, honest, dependable and completely trustworthy. He has kept us fully informed throughout the process and has always immediately returned our calls, e-mails and texts. He has never once said something couldn’t be done or fobbed us off at all and he has ensured that the job has appeared to progress extremely smoothly. When real or potential problems have emerged he has contacted us immediately and been able to discuss them in such a way that we have been fully informed but not stressed.

Financially CCS have produced regular statements which Tony has taken time to discuss with us. Additions and omissions have been clearly accounted for and so we have retained control of the budget and expenditure.

From the start we believed that having CCS project manage the work in its entirety meant that we wouldn’t have to worry about managing potential staff problems, nor did we have to coordinate tradesmen or shop around for best prices and it also ensured that we were able to keep a firm grip on the budget as Tony was able to cost everything out accurately for time and expenses before we committed to any additions. As a result, this made the whole process virtually stress free.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the work that CCS have done for us and would recommend them to anybody considering any form of building work.

I am pleased to confirm that Complete Construction services Ltd (CCS) have designed and built the access road and the last four industrial units to be constructed upon the White Hoe Industrial Estate and have obtained planning permission for the estate layout and the next two units have been constructed.

The total floor area of the units so far constructed is in excess of 46,000 square feet. CCS have undertaken the “Complete Construction” package including obtaining Planning and Building Control Approval, undertaking Planning Supervision in respect of CDM responsibilities of the construction of the units.

The engineering design, and construction, of the units has not been straight forward due to large extent and depth of filled ground encountered. CCS have always gone to great lengths to devise economical engineering solutions to what could otherwise be a prohibitively expensive problem.

CCS are punctual, reliable, work in a professional, safe and efficient manner and provide an excellent end product. We have no hesitation in recommending them to you.”

“Complete Construction Services Ltd completed a scheme comprising one block of four x two bedroomed flats on an infill plot in Ballakilley Close, Port Erin approximately a tear ago. The contract was completed on time and to a good standard of workmanship.

The development site being infill within an existing estate was a difficult site to develop due to the close proximity of the adjourning properties. A good relationship was established with the occupiers of the neighbouring properties which greatly assisted the smooth running of the development.

The site was well managed and controlled by the principals of the Company with every regard being taken to the Health and Safety of their employees and the public at large.
